Anbern R. Guarrine

As part of the Premier Business Family Consulting Firm, Anbern has a dual role as a Family Workshop Facilitator handling family visioning and family teambuilding and as the Business Development Officer handling Client Engagement. Anbern has passion for experiential education and empowerment. She has roughly 10 years of experience in creating, implementing and evaluating experiential training programs. Her expertise includes group dynamics and facilitating. Anbern is guided by the principles of Client Centered and Gestalt Facilitating, being a Golden Facilitator awarded by the Facilitator’s Circle which originated in University of San Carlos. Being a trainor at heart, she is co founder of Be! Experiential Training. She used to be the Program Steward of Dilaab Foundation Inc., handling the PNP Values and Leadership School program on good governance and Heroic Christian Citizenship and Leadership. Anbern was also an on-call Trainor of the Philippine National Police Regional Training School in Region VII. Prof. Jacob Reuben A. Cabochan , CFBA

Jacob is a senior consultant of Pemier Family Business Consulting Inc. specializing in Leadership Succession. He has partnered with many family businesses in establishing their respective Family Governance and Constitution.

He used to be the Acting Director of the Ateneo Family Business Development Center. Prior to working for his own family business, Pandayan Bookstore, he worked for the Boston Consulting Group as an associate consultant. He developed business strategies, including process improvements for companies in several industries, and in major Southeast Asian countries namely Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore. Jacob completed his Bachelor of Science in Management (Magna Cum Laude) from the Ateneo de Manila University. Experiential Trainings, Inc. With her expertise in Visioning and Organizational Planning, she facilitates various companies, government offices, school organizations and families. She has earned units in Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of San Carlos. Having excelled in Gestalt Facilitating she was awarded by the Facilitators Circle as Gestalt Facilitator Awardee. Thres is guided by the principles and best practice of group dynamics in Adventure Programming and Experiential Education.   Thresa is also a Module Development expert. As a Registered Financial Consultancy Course graduate of the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants, she was responsible for developing a customized system for the personal financial planning practice. This guide is currently being used by Accountants working for the members of families in business. Thresa enjoys working with families, which she says is her most fulfilling engagements. Teresita Caballero

Ms. Teresita Caballero has earned Masters degrees in Organizational Development and Business Management.

Her passion for human resource development prompted her to put up her own manpower agency and made a significant contribution to the growth of the labor pool in some of the most prominent business establishments in the city.

Being immersed in the field of human resources for most of her professional life, Ms. Caballero’s is proficient in the fields of consultative works, conducting training seminars, organizing and designing HR systems and training modules, as well as facilitating discussions and implementing organizational development interventions.

A mother of four children, Ms. Caballero’s motivation is geared towards giving her children good life and providing them all the love and support that they need. As an HR/OD Consultant, she helps companies identify their areas for improvement and recommend necessary intervention to improve organization efficiency. She is bent on helping more individuals and organizations in these aspects and would like to leave a legacy behind.

She is medical doctor by original profession and faculty member of various medical schools in the city.  But her desire to expand her competence in order to help more people led her to become a registered financial consultant, a pastoral counselor in the Redemptorist Family Center Cebu, an accredited addiction specialist, a study coordinator on Lundbeck Clinical Trials for Schizophrenia, and a trained family dynamics and counselling specialist by the Ateneo CEFAM.  She is an active member of the Commission on Family and Life of the Archdiocese of Cebu.

John Guarrine has over 30 years of experience as an experiential educator. He has worked as the director of Sunrise Lake Outdoor Education Center (SLOEC) for 28 years. At SLOEC, he designed and implemented programming for groups ranging from early childhood through senior citizens of all abilities. He also has over 25 years of experience as a corporate team building consultant working with all levels employees from entry level to experienced CEO’s.

John currently does consulting with the Guarrine Group and serves as Chair of the Board for Play for Peace, a global non-profit organization, that promotes cooperative play to promote laughter, compassion and peace.

Virgilio Paralisan

VIRGILIO “TOY” PARALISAN is a strategic and development planning sage for small and medium enterprises. His previous stints in various multinational corporations as a front runner in marketing and customer service development gave him the opportunity to demonstrate his proficiencies in managing and developing assets, people processes, systems, programs, projects and enterprises.

Mr. Paralisan’s core competencies are in strategic and development planning, facilitating team leadership workshops, business modelling, and linking quality management system with strategic management goals, purpose and outputs.

Among the many gargantuan tasks he has tackled in his previous managerial posts were organizing and facilitation of conferences, workshops, exhibits and public relations campaigns. He has written articles, concept papers, case studies, and white papers to support customer service or develop training materials.

Gideon Kent Gil

GIDEON KENT GIL was born and raised in Iloilo City. An achiever and consistent honor student from elementary up to college, he was a recipient of various awards in General Academic Excellence , Leadership, Journalism, Public Speaking, and Service. He is a lover of education, politics, history and the arts.

Gideon graduated with a degree in Political Science at West Visayas State University. He pursued his interest for philosophy, law and research and took up Juris Doctor at Centro Escolar University-Makati. Moreover, for his professional development, he attended various training/s and short courses in Spanish and Arabic Languages and other Human Resource Management programs.

His core competencies include General Human Resource Management, People Development,  Employee and Labor Relations, Executive and Administrative Support, Training and Development and Recruitment.

Mr. Gil started his career in Human Resources and Legal Services after graduation and became an HR Manager at the age of twenty one. At early age, he was able to handle unionized family -owned corporations. He was exposed and gained extensive work experiences from various industries (Legal , Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, Construction, etc).
